The Strength of Relations...How Much & How Long??

It was a fine mid summer  morning.I took up the mild hot cup of tea and glanced through the pages of newspaper. The newspaper had no 'new' subjects to discuss ,analyse and inform the public. The articles were all stereotypical except the data. The ugly facade of the burgeoning metropolis didn't make me shock or be surprised .I just left a gasp of agony, pain and disgust.
One news however caught my eye -- ''A man killed his wife because he found her guilty of infidelity''.I didn't read much yet a thought came swirling in my mind--What is the strength of  relations? Is the bond of relationships so fragile that it breaks and gets lost in mayhem of money, material and mere earthly desires??.I took the sight  of the still hot tea cup.Every morning and evening I meet the cup and tea at the sequestered corner of my room. The warm vapors waft from the tea yet they never leave each other till I finish the last drop of the aromatic beverage. It seems so simple and might not convey much sermons yet a deeper probing and analysis can clearly suggest that it all about living together in prosperity and peril.Even if the tea spills the vapors never leave.Somebody had rightly remarked--''There is lot to learn from a cup of tea even.''
Coming to our human level of relationships ,we make relationships faster than any other species in the world. Why can't we?? We are regarded as the most intelligent of all the creations of the Almighty. But the question lingers Do we put all our sincerity in maintaining our relations,do we really care for our relations,do we really try to contact the ones with whom we have lost contact for no specific reasons?? Much answers would be flat'NO'.There is always a self motive behind our every relations.Be it family, friends or colleagues.  For once if we keep aside those merit lists, salaries, positions, achievements, lobbies, mediators away and just think of our relationships with the person with whom we claim to have a relation ...we can know where we stand. In the process of walking up the stairs of success we have trampled the relations based on love, care and no misunderstandings.
Let's take a break from making and hooking onto the relations made just for few profits or self satiation.Let's stride to make relations just for love and few simple caring words. Its very painful to accept and digest that technology has just worsened the idea of relations. With new ideas of  securing relations prancing now and then the real essence of the relation has been lost in the  ruckus and showbiz of selfies, status updates, collage edits of friends, and the list goes on...Are we seriously  considering our relation with the person standing next to us in the photograph making a funny or weird facial expression?? We share it,likes and comments shower like drizzles on an indolent summer afternoon and then?? If a little misunderstanding creeps or our self motives are not fulfilled or even in worst cases our sky high ego gets a blow then is our relation strong enough to withstand the violence of evil emotions and diabolic circumstances?? Answers rested upon .
Relations are not toys to be played, used and dumped in the garbage bins. These are the strings of diamond in our otherwise ordinary, mundane lives. We all are connected in a bond,in a food chain,in every cycle of nature,in every functioning of our physiology. Then how can we treat relations with so much carelessness. The person sitting next to you in the frame flashes a smile only to make the snapshot come worth looking at but  you may not be realising that at the same time she/he is undergoing an emotional upheaval caused due to failures or loss of important matters. We get so involved in showcasing our relations that we fail to see the pooling tears in the eyes of our dear ones, the whimpers of the near ones...
The strength  of our relations should be based on the rules of what relations and relationships are in original meaning. They should not be the sand castles on the beach who are washed by the lashing waves on shore rather they should be built as strong as the  mighty mountains and sonnets of Shakespeare.
